1. Who this notice covers
This notice describes the Word Problem Clarity landing page operated under the Brenstead brand, including its optional parent check-in. The site is intended for adult parents and caregivers. It does not offer child accounts or ask for a child's name, email, date of birth or school.
The site operator is Brenstead. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@brenstead.com.

2. Your optional check-in
The four-question check-in asks about grade band, difficulties with word problems, calculation and preferred support. You do not need to provide an email address. Answers and progress are processed in your browser and are not submitted to a Brenstead server, checkout or analytics service.
When browser storage is available, progress is saved in session storage on the current tab. The site stops restoring a saved record more than 30 minutes after its last update and removes expired records when it checks them. This is not a background deletion timer. Closing the tab normally ends the session; browser session-restore behavior may vary. You can also clear the site's browser data. The check-in remains usable without storage, but progress may not survive a reload.
3. Privacy choices and browser storage
Your optional-cookie preferences are saved in local storage. A choice remains valid for 90 days; an expired choice is discarded when the site next checks it. This preference record contains the selected categories, version and time of the choice, not your check-in answers.
Open Privacy choices in the landing-page footer to change or withdraw optional consent. You can also delete site data using your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already took place.
4. Analytics and campaign links
Current status: Google Analytics 4 is enabled only after you accept Analytics in our privacy settings. Microsoft Clarity and Meta Pixel are not enabled.
Optional analytics
If enabled, Google Analytics may measure visits, referral campaigns, page interactions, check-in starts and completions, and clicks leading to checkout. Microsoft Clarity may provide interaction recordings and heatmaps to help us understand navigation and usability. These services may process device and browser information, online identifiers and interaction data as described in their privacy information.
Our site is designed to load these analytics services only after you choose Analytics in the privacy settings. You can use the check-in and explore the product without accepting analytics. Check-in answers and results are not included in our analytics events; the check-in and result areas must remain masked in any interaction recordings.
Optional advertising measurement
If enabled, Meta Pixel may measure page views, offer views and clicks to checkout to help assess advertising performance. It may process online identifiers and device and browser information. It is separate from analytics and is designed to load only after you choose Advertising. Check-in answers are not sent to Meta. A click to checkout is not treated as a completed purchase.
Your choices and provider information
You can change or withdraw optional consent using Privacy choices. Withdrawal stops future optional tracking on this site; it does not erase information already processed by a provider. Provider retention and processing depend on the services and settings actually enabled. Google Analytics retention is controlled in our Analytics account. Microsoft Clarity and Meta Pixel remain inactive.

Approved campaign labels in a referral link, such as the source, medium and campaign name, may be appended to the Lava product link. These labels do not contain check-in answers. With analytics consent, the site can retain the approved campaign labels in session storage for reuse within a 30-minute validity window. Without that consent, labels from the current page URL may still be included in the checkout link, but are not saved for later visits.
5. Purchases on Lava
The purchase buttons open Lava checkout in a new tab. Your browser connects to Lava when you follow the link. We do not send check-in answers to Lava.
Choosing the purchase button takes you to Lava, a separate service. This landing page does not collect or store card details or accept payments. Information you supply during checkout is handled under the privacy information and terms presented by Lava and its payment providers. Review them before paying.
Brenstead uses order information and correspondence to provide customer support, handle refunds and meet recordkeeping obligations. We retain this information for as long as needed for those purposes and applicable legal requirements. The retention period depends on the type of record and whether it is needed for an unresolved request, dispute or required recordkeeping.
6. Hosting and technical requests
Our hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, to deliver, operate and protect the website.
7. Requests and updates
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion or other use of personal information. Send your request to info@brenstead.com. Please do not send identifying information about a child with a support request. If the site's services or data practices change, this notice will be updated.
