1. Seller and scope
These terms describe Word Problem Clarity Starter Kit by Brenstead. The public Lava listing calls the product “Word Problem Clarity: Math Starter Kit for Grades 2–4”.
The seller is Brenstead. For purchase, download or refund questions, contact info@brenstead.com and include your order number.
Country of establishment: United States.
2. What your purchase includes
- Complete Starter Kit — Start Here: a 40-page US Letter PDF containing setup guidance, Routine Cards, five parent-led lessons with three tasks each, parent scripts, model guidance, answers, a Final Clarity Check and Parent Snapshot.
- Child Print Pack — Print These Pages: a 19-page low-ink US Letter PDF containing matching child pages, Routine Cards and two Final Clarity Check pages.
The Complete Starter Kit includes the child pages in teaching order. Print the matching pages from the Child Print Pack; your child completes each page once. This is a digital download. No physical item is shipped. You need a device that opens PDF files and access to a printer for the child pages.
3. Price and checkout
The English-language Lava product listing displayed a one-time price of $24.00 USD when checked on September 23, 2026. Review the currency, final total and any applicable taxes or fees shown at checkout before paying. Payment and access to the purchased files are handled through Lava. This landing page does not process your payment.
4. Personal household license
Purchase includes a personal-use license for one household. You may use the PDFs with your household and print the matching child pages for that use. Redistribution, resale, file sharing, classroom use, co-op use and tutoring use are not included. Contact the seller before using the materials beyond this license.
5. Learning scope
The kit is designed for Grades 2–4 and introduces Change and Part-Whole through 15 one-step addition and subtraction lesson tasks. It does not teach Compare, Equal Groups, division, fractions or multi-step problems. Grade 2 children may need a parent to read problem text aloud. A lesson is intended to take about 12–18 minutes; individual needs vary.
This is a focused introduction, not a full math curriculum or mastery program. It does not promise grade-level advancement or success on every word problem. The Final Clarity Check is a parent observation tool, not a diagnosis. The free website check-in is also guidance, not a diagnostic assessment.
6. Optional bonus practice
The Lava listing offers 12 additional Change and Part-Whole practice problems after completing the optional 6–8 minute feedback survey following Lesson 5. Marketing consent is not required to receive this bonus.
7. Download help and refunds
If a file is incomplete, corrupted or will not open, keep your order number and request help from the seller. The intended remedy for a defective file is a replacement or re-download. Lava's platform support is a separate route for platform or checkout problems.
Purchases through Lava are subject to its Terms of Service, section IV: Procedure for Refund of the Payments. That procedure allows a request within five calendar days after access is granted for issues such as missing content, a material mismatch with the description that prevents intended use, or inability to view content attributable to the author.
Contact the seller with your order number and a description of the issue; Lava's terms also describe submitting a request through your customer account for forwarding to the author. The author has three calendar days after receipt to remedy the issue, accept the refund or submit objections. If disputed, Lava describes review within ten business days after receiving the author's objections. A timely remedy may resolve the claim without a refund.
This procedure is not an unconditional change-of-mind guarantee. Lava's terms provide for a bank-commission deduction in the specified refund circumstances. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this summary. Please consult the linked terms for the complete procedure.

8. Privacy and changes
See the Privacy Notice for how the landing-page check-in and browser storage work. Review the terms supplied at checkout and keep a copy with your receipt. Changes to this page do not by themselves remove rights attached to an earlier purchase.
